How To Keep Your Emotions from Blocking Your Intelligence

4-Part Webinar Series with Jack Elias, CHT

Here is a personal story Jack tells about learning from emotional overwhelm:

“Many years ago, I experienced a prolonged period of unexpectedly deep, gut-wrenching grief. I had just made some well-considered choices. But I was surprised that those choices elicited such intense grief.

“Overwhelmed with sadness, I cried so hard that I thought I was having a heart attack. When I survived, I thought, ‘Glad that’s over with.’ But when the next bout of crying came up, I realized I was not dealing with a one-time event but a series of tidal waves!  How many more waves would I have to suffer through? Not knowing terrified me.

“I reached out to an older mentor. He listened as I explained, through my tears, my situation and the intense suffering that had come with it. When at last I gave him an opening, he said, ‘Jack, you have given up your God-given right to choose what to feel.’

“I was outraged. I yelled into the phone, ‘This is not my choice! This is f**king real, and f**k you!’ And I slammed down the phone. (In those days, it was still possible to slam down a phone.)”

Over time, however, Jack discovered that his mentor had been right. And that discovery has since enabled him to help many people learn to keep their intelligence alert, even in the midst of deep grief, anxiety, and even rage.

Join us on Wednesdays from April 20 – May 11, as Jack teaches you to keep your intelligence and your ability to act constructively –– even when powerful emotions seem to push you toward creating havoc and harm.

Aa a Hypnosis/NLP trainer and longtime Buddhist practitioner, Jack has a unique style of presentation: first he explains profound, transformative insights, then he demonstrates them in a dynamic Q&A with participants. Everyone is included in the learning process.

Each class will go deeper into how to free yourself from the confusion and suffering intense emotional turmoil can cause.
