Science and psychology are discovering that most of us suffer from some level of shame and trauma, not just those crying out for help. Because trauma is so pervasive in our culture, many of us suffer from beliefs that we are worthless or inadequate. We may live this way for many years without realizing these beliefs are the result of strong shaming conditioning and other traumatic experiences.
We understandably link shame and trauma to past experiences. But we don’t make much headway with healing ourselves if we think these past experiences and conditioning control us. Many people think, “You can’t change the past, so get over it and move one.” In other words, just ”stuff it.” Of course, that doesn’t work.
You may be able to block memories out of your conscious mind, but you can’t make your subconscious mind forget them. When your subconscious mind tries to bring those burdens into consciousness so that you can process and release them, often the conscious mind blocks the process. “Don’t think about that!” When this is the case, we leave our subconscious mind no choice but to bring those issues to our attention in disguise –– as physical, mental, and behavioral problems.
The healing process can seem daunting when you don’t know what it is you need to address or how to address it. But once you know the real “what” and “how,” that you’re dealing with, then you can examine it clearly. At that point, healing is often quite easy and full of welcome relief as it unfolds!
In this webinar we will explore these key points. You will learn that you are not ruled by the past but rather by your mind’s mistaken way of creating memories. The good news is: your mind belongs to you! That means you can learn to master it.
Join us in this 4-part webinar on Wednesdays, from July 13 – August 3, as Jack teaches you how to train your mind to stop creating shame-based attitudes and trauma scenarios. Then you will be free to generate states of self-kindness and encouragement so you can enjoy meeting life’s challenges and creating beneficial outcomes.
As a Hypnosis/NLP trainer and longtime Buddhist practitioner, Jack has a unique style of presentation: first he explains profound, transformative insights, then he demonstrates them in a dynamic Q&A with participants. Everyone is included in the learning process.
Each class will go deeper into how to engage your mind’s power to create great benefit and happiness for yourself and others. You will teach your mind to stop supplying power to beliefs and emotions that used to convince you to inhabit smallness, weakness, and invisibility.
